The Last Of Us star Bella Ramsey has a pretty unique way of eating their cereal, but we’re not sure how you’re going to feel about it.

The 19-year-old, who plays Ellie alongside Pedro Pascal in the TV adaptation of the hit video game, shared her, ahem, interesting, admission alongside her co-star.

Bella, who identifies as non-binary, was quizzed on the last thing they ate and said: ‘Mine was cornflakes and bran with dried strawberries in… with orange juice on top instead of milk.’

Yep you read that correctly.

Pedro represented all of us and responded: ‘Orange juice?’

‘So good,’ she insisted.

‘There once wasn’t milk I could drink, there wasn’t oat milk or almond milk, so I just tried orange juice on it. Years ago! And I loved it. And it’s been a thing ever since.’

Although Bella swears by the controversial combination, it’s safe to say fans weren’t really feeling it.

‘Bella sweetie i have absolutely nothing against you but.. wtf IS this looks like watery vomit,’ one person tweeted.

‘Bella, I cannot defend you for this,’ another added.

A third replied: ‘As someone who tried it my stomach started BURNING idk how anyone can eat it.’

The youngster recently marked International Transgender Day of Visibility with a throwback photo on social media.

‘Happy TDOV to this little dude!,’ they wrote.

‘I didn’t know the word non-binary in this picture. But I knew what it meant. Inherently.

‘Because I always was, and always will be. Lotsa love to all of my trans, enby and gender funky friends.’

Earlier this year Bella told The New York Times that their gender had always been ‘very fluid’.

‘I’m very much just a person,’ they said. ‘Being gendered isn’t something that I particularly like, but in terms of pronouns, I really couldn’t care less.’

Ahead of the show’s release, showrunner Craig Mazin spoke about the importance of Ellie’s sexual orientation being honoured in the TV series.\

Like in the video game, the series revealed that she was in love with her best friend Riley, played by Storm Reid.

‘It’s not a spoiler – Ellie’s a lesbian,’ he said.

‘That’s just the way it is.’

The Last of Us is available to watch on Sky and NOW.
