Post Malone has revealed he is in hospital after experiencing breathing difficulties hours before he was due to perform at a concert.
Fans were hoping to see the Rockstar rapper on-stage at TD Gardens in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday night as part of his ongoing tour.
However, Malone – real name Austin Richard Post – shared a statement announcing he was forced to cancel the show after suddenly falling ill.
In his message, the rapper explained how he not only had breathing difficulties but was also experiencing sharp pains shooting through his body.
‘Boston, I love y’all so f*****g much,’ he began in his social media post.
‘On tour, I usually wake up around 4 o’clock PM, and today I woke up to a cracking sounds on the right side of my body. I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different than has it before.’
Malone, 27, added that he was ‘having a very difficult time breathing’ and felt ‘a stabbing pain whenever [he] breathe[s] or move[s]’.
‘We’re in the hospital now, but with this pain, I can’t do the show tonight,’ he said.
‘I’m so f*****g sorry.
‘Everyone’s tickets for tonight’s show will be valid for the reschedule that we’re planning right now. Once again, I’m so f*****g sorry, I love y’all so much.’
Malone concluded: ‘I feel terrible, but I promise I’m going to make this up to you. I love you Boston, I’ll see you soon. I’m so sorry.’
It comes just a week after Malone was escorted away by medics at his recent show in St Louis after falling through the stage and appearing to injure himself.
The rapper was performing his hit Circles at the at the Enterprise Center last Saturday night when he walked down a ramp on stage and appeared to fall down a hole on stage.
He could be seen being attended to by medics and left the stage before reappearing 15 minutes later to apologise to fans.
