Armed police have been called to Auckland’s St Lukes mall after reports of a firearm in the area.
Four armed police were seen standing guard at ASB on Tuesday afternoon, but were not seen arresting or apprehending anyone.
A worker from Lukes cafe, which is opposite ASB, said she saw four police come in with big guns and hang around the front of the bank.
The bank had closed its doors, she said, with some staff still inside.
The worker said ASB staff told her that there were aggressive people in the store.
