A man who was arrested after a woman’s body was found in a marina in Caversham, Berkshire, has been released.
Thames Valley Police said that no further action would be taken against the 61-year-old man, from Caversham, who had been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Officers were called just after 10.30am on Saturday when the woman’s body was found in the water at the Thames and Kennet Marina near Reading.
Detectives were treating the case as an unexplained death.
A police spokesman said: “A man was arrested in connection with the investigation but he has now been released with no further action to be taken.
“We would like to thank the local community for their patience and understanding while we investigate the circumstances.
“Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the woman who has died.”
