Love Island’s Will Young has quashed speculation over his sexuality with his girlfriend Jessie Wynter blasting judgmental fans.
The 23-year-old TikTok farmer delighted fans up and down the country during his time in the South African villa what with his incredible dance moves and his roast rap.
Following his exit from the ITV2 dating show, which saw Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan win the series, Will has shed light on his relationship while also addressing rumours about his sexuality.
‘I was 100% myself in the villa,’ he said. ‘I’m happy with myself and I’m happy with Jessie.’
Speaking to The Mirror, Will added: ‘My brother is gay, and so I’m all for it. I don’t think anyone can say that to me in a negative way.
‘As a person, I’m very outgoing and charismatic, and I’m not going to change.’
Jessie also had her say, and quipped: ‘It’s 2023, and judging people’s sexuality is outdated and needs to get out of the window.’
Hear, hear!
Will and Jessie have been enjoying life outside the villa since leaving Love Island before the villa.
Earlier this week, the couple only had eyes for each other as they strolled hand in hand through London.
The pair also posted a series of photographs on social media showing them on a romantic day out in the capital, as they played tourists in front of Buckingham Palace.
In a joint post since starting their new lives together, they said: ‘We made friends for life, met each other and more importantly have fallen in love.
‘We are so happy that we got this opportunity as without it we may have never met.’
They added: We just want to thank all of you for the love and support we have gotten, we really couldn’t have done it without you. Love you all Will & Jessie.’
