King Charles and Queen Camilla’s last day in Germany is packed with engagements.
Among their stops planned there is a visit to St Nikolai Memorial in Hamburg, the remains of a church which was destroyed when the Allies raised to the ground the city as part of Operation Gomorrah in 1943.
The pair will also pay tribute to those who died in the devastating air raid.
The King and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will together lay wreaths during a short ceremony of remembrance.
As he mentioned in his speech to the Bundestag on Thursday, King Charles will also celebrate the Kindertransporte which saved thousands of children from the Nazis.
