King Charles plans to evict royal children from their London homes

The source told the Evening Standard of the eviction plans and said: “Properties will be let at commercial rates going forward and to people outside the family. Where it is in a palace environment they will of course be security vetted.”

The insider did not state what royals were at risk, or which London residences would be targeted.

A number of members of the Firm currently live at either Kensington Palace or St James’s Palace in Westminster which are both split into a series of apartments.

Princess Anne, the King’s sister, uses St James’s Palace as her official London residence when she is in the capital.

The Prince of Wales and Princess Alexandra also use the Palace as their London residence.

Princess Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew, lives in St James’s Palace in a spacious four-bedroom apartment.

She lives their with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzie and their daughter Sienna Elizabeth.

Eduardo’s son Christopher Woolfe, who is known as “Wolfie” also lives with them.

Kensington Palace is home to a larger number of royals, including the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke and Duchess of Kent and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.
