Kea Kids News: Family cat Pippi turns up after going missing eight years ago

This is the tale of the long-lost cat who decided to take the scenic route home.

When Pippi the cat was re-homed eight years ago, he almost immediately went missing from his new place.

Eventually, he reappeared at his original home after travelling across 16kms of coastal farmland.

Kea Kids News reporter Ruby Milne, 12, visited the Coromandel to hear all about Pippi’s epic adventure.
