We are now into the 11th day of the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, with the legal battle getting back underway this Thursday, April 28, 2022. Stay with us in this live blog to see the latest developments from the Depp vs Heard trial, which is taking place in Fairfax, Virginia.
This is the third week of the six-week trial between Depp and Heard, and today is the last day this week that the court will be in session, as it takes place from Monday to Thursday.
It is worth remembering that Depp filed a 50 million dollar lawsuit against Heard over a domestic abuse column she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018, which he claims is inaccurate, while she countersued for a sum of 100 million dollars.
Heard has still not taken to the stand and that is unlikely to be the case today, with there set to be a video deposition to begin the session that will last for two and a half hours.
The trial will resume at 10:00 local time in Virginia, which means a 15:00 start time in the United Kingdom and 16:00 in central Europe.
