Lives will be left hanging in the balance as EastEnders airs a brutal car crash, with Denise Fox (Diane Parish) left horrified as she learns that she may be responsible.
After winning a flashy new car at an awards ceremony, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) takes Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) for a spin around the square.
However, their ride ends in a disastrous crash which leaves Denzel unconscious and trapped in the car.
After being freed from the wreckage by emergency services, Kim is met at the hospital by sister Denise, who is understandably concerned for her welfare.
The tables soon turn, however, when Kim reveals the real reason for her crash.
Devastated Kim confesses that messages from Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) appeared on Denise’s phone, ultimately causing the collision.
Unbeknown to Kim, Denise had a brief fling with Ravi after they shared a kiss on Valentine’s day, though she finally called things off after meeting Ravi in a hotel room behind husband Jack Branning’s (Scott Maslen) back.
Since then, Ravi has been attempting to blackmail Denise into digging up whatever information the police have on him, after learning of Jack’s investigation.
To do this, he has been seducing Denise’s daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams).
Despite Denise revealing that Jack had been taken off the case, he was still determined that Denise could get him the information he needed.
With Denise wanting him to stay away from her daughter, he said that he wouldn’t, unless she found him what he’d asked for.
Having seen what being involved with Ravi can lead to, and suffering the guilt of keeping her secret, she reveals all to Kim.
Will Denise be able to live with herself knowing that her sister blames her for the devastating crash, and will Kim ever be able to forgive her?
